It was a three-in-one programme today at Odiolowo/Ojuwoye LCDA as the Council Chairman, Hon Rasaq Olusola Ajala, distributed e-Learning compact disc containing UTME, WAEC and GCE past questions to students within the LCDA.

He equally provided financial support to the representatives of the LCDA, who took the second position at the just concluded Conference 57 female football leagues held at Agege Stadium.

In his speech, Hon Ajala said: “The distribution of the CD was to facilitate teaching and learning at different levels.”

“It is to help the teachers and students to make learning easier. The engagement is to help the educational development and capacity building for the youths,” he added.

He noted that education was all round development: physical, mental, moral, social and emotional.

He however stressed the need to support the youth in other areas of education such as sporting activities.

He stated, “The administration will ensure no child is prevented from attaining his or her desired academic or career level as a result of his or her circumstance of birth or background.”

He said it was as a result of this his government decided to make adequate provision for past questions in UTME, WAEC and GCE in a compact disc for easier learning.

While commenting on the book, “The Worthy Ambassador”, he commended the author for the thematic concerns of the book: attitude to reading, character moulding, mentorship and peer group.

In his review of the book, the Author, Dr Olumide Adekoya, explained what triggered him to write the twelve-chapter book. He stated that it was as a result of his failure to pass his school certificate exams at a sitting.
