Babajide Ojo, a 31-year-old Nigerian, has received an honorary marshal for his excellent academic record as the best PhD student at Oklahoma State University
Babajide Ojo, who had his first degree from the University of Ado Ekiti before he proceeded for his postgraduate studies in nutritional science, performed excellently during his masters.
As his performance earned him a scholarship for a doctoral programme, he has made a groundbreaking record as the best PhD student at Oklahoma State University.
Commenting on his achievement, Babajide wrote on his Facebook wall: “I am super proud to be one of two Honorary Commencement Marshals at the doctoral level for the Fall2019 commencement ceremony – the highest honor awarded to a student during the graduation season. I am deeply honored at the prospect of leading my esteemed colleagues in the procession, recognition at the ceremony, having reserved seats for my family, among other perks 😉.”
Babajide Ojo, aged 31 years, is another Nigerian that has made the nation really proud as he received special recognition for his academic effort in the US.
For the success, he was decorated with an honorary marshal in a ceremony that was held on Friday, December 13.
