Prof. Olugbenga Ige has been appointed as the Acting Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University in Ondo State.
The appointment was approved today by the state government.
In a congratulations message posted on the institution’s Facebook page, it was disclosed that Prof Ige rose from the position of DVC admin to the current position.
“Professor Ige was the DVC Admin before his appointment,” it stated.
In his reaction to the appointment, an alumnus of the institution, Okungbowa Oluseyi congratulated Prof and prayed that he emerge the institution’s VC.
“I pray he be given the appointment. Prof Olugbenga Ige is a good man for the job,” he said.
