Written by Akeem Alao

Management of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has disclosed that the education of a little girl sighted using the bank’s ATM light to do her homework will be sponsored.

The young girl simply identified as Dele was found doing her homework by the bank’s ATM gallery in Ondo town.

A young man who visited the ATM found the young girl sorting her homework with the uninterrupted electricity supply at the ATM stand.

He shared the picture of the little girl on his Twitter handle, and it finally got to FCMB management who asked people through the bank’s official Twitter account to help find Dele so that she could be sponsored.

“I saw this little Dele at FCMB Bank along Yaba Road in Ondo City. She is using the ATM Gallery light to do her homework. My respect goes to her determination to make it in life. Let it go viral,” the Tweeter reads.

Having stumbled on the tweet, the bank replied through its official Tweeter handle.

“We are inspired by Dele’s determination to study. It’s great our ATM Gallery could light her books for the evening, but we would love to do more to support. Can you please help us find Dele? Please RT until it gets to someone who knows her,” the bank tweeted.

It was reported that the little girl, who attends a private school, Hope of Glory Academy and her grandmother have been located by the bank.
