A Lecturer in the Department of History and International Studies, Osun State University, Dr. Adewole Adeleke, has been awarded Outstanding Lecturer of the year in South West.
He was awarded by Southwest Nigeria Education Award.
According to the Chairman Screening Committee of SNEA, Honey Olawale, the award was given to Dr Adeleke based on his outstanding level of integrity, impact in the work place and community.
He noted that the testimonies from the public also confirmed the aforementioned reasons.
While speaking about the award, Dr Adeleke expressed his gratitude to SNEA and the general public for the recognition.
It was reported that the past winners of the SNEA were the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church, Pastor E.A Adeboye, the Vice Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University, Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede, the Vice Chancellor of LAUTECH Professor Michael O. Olugunde among others.
