Oyo State Government has begun payment of 2020 Bursary to its indigenes in the Nigerian Law School.

His Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Makinde approved the sum of N500,000 each for 233 Oyo State indigenes in the Nigerian law school few months ago.

While disclosing this on Wednesday December 9, 2020, Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Seun Fakorede, said it was a clear indication that the Oyo State Government led by His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde is fulfilling its promises.

“It should be noted also that it is a responsive and responsible government with a sustainable structure,” Fakorede said.

He noted that despite the economic situation and challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the governor has considered it necessary to execute his promise.

Fakorede further stated that Rt. Hon. Maroon Atilola has been appointed as the Chairman, Oyo State Scholarship Board.

This, he said, would ensure that more of Oyo State indigenes would benefit from Oyo State scholarships and bursaries.
