The Annual Conference is APEN’s flagship event. It holds every year and is attended by over 500 delegates from around the world. Training and teacher development are key priorities at the annual conferences. About APEN
THE ASSOCIATION OF PRIVATE EDUCATORS IN NIGERIA (APEN), a Nigeria based, not-for-profit organisation, was founded in 2002. It represents the interests of private schools in Nigeria. APEN has a membership of schools which range in size from 20 to 2000 students. All their member schools have an international focus. APEN is run by a Board of Trustees, from schools around Nigeria, who are owners of their respective schools. The Board includes experts in education who have the sole motivation to unite schools under the APEN umbrella. Together, they seek to improve the educational system in our nation.
