Free Connecting Classroom Training for Lagos Teachers

The Schoolinka Linking Classroom Program is a one day intensive in-person workshop where primary school teachers will learn about the concept and power of connection, through various activities and training sessions. The program is broken down into a 4-hours in-person workshop and a 2 weeks post workshop learning online.
Program Participants will understand:

– Concept of Connections Based Learning;
– Why Connections Based Learning;
– Ways of Connecting Classrooms: Community Engagement and Classroom Partnerships;
– Empatico as a tool to connect pupils across the globe (Here, every teacher sign up to use Empatico).

This program is designed mainly to achieve specific classroom outcomes, and it is expected that after the learning experience and it’s application in the classroom, students will begin to learn in an environment that is deeply rooted in the following core areas:

– Connections based learning
– Global Learning Activation
– SDGs in the Classroom

At the end of the workshop, teachers will get a certificate that has an Empatico badge, which shows that they are empowered with the right knowledge and tool (Empatico) to connect their classrooms across the world. This certificate shows that the participant is equipped to raise globally informed and locally rooted learners.

Date: Saturday, 18th of May, 2019
Venue: Avalanche Spaces, Anthony, Lagos.
Time: 9am to 1pm

Registration Deadline 6th of May, 2019.

Training is FREE, however you can choose to earn a certificate fully endorsed and workshop materials at N3,000.
