Employees of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, have decried the non-payment of their 11-month salaries.

The workers lamented that they would have to spend Christmas in hunger.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, in a statement by the chapter Chairman, Dr Cyril Onogbosele; and Assistant Secretary, Dr William Odion, said workers of the university received selective payment of salary.

Efforts to reach the Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Chris Nehikhare, for comments were unsuccessful. proved abortive as his phone was not reachable.
