Academy DOS urges educators, students to pay attention to history

Written by Abdulafeez Olaitan

Director of studies at Castlefern Learning English, Montell Benson has expressed his worries on the need for educators and students to pay attention to history and how it repeats itself without the knowledge of the people.

In a social media post, the IELTS teacher and Pearson editor, said when the current president, Muhammed Buhari was in power in 1984, three naira notes were redesigned and the citizens suffered.

Montell lamented that now, three naira notes have been redesigned, or, more appropriately, re-coloured; and people are suffering.

He however asked whether the policy is deliberate orchestration to frustrate Nigerians.

According to the post made by the English language teacher, he validates his claim by sharing a screenshot of analytics that was made by CBN Nairalytics.

His Facebook reads: “How come nobody’s talking about this?

“When the current Nigerian president was in power in 1984, three naira notes were redesigned and citizens suffered. Now, the same man is in power: three naira notes have been redesigned, or, more appropriately, re-coloured; and people are suffering. What manner of man is this? Is this a deliberate orchestration?
