Written by Elvis Boniface

Founder, Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, Chief Michael Ade-Ojo, has urged institutions of higher learning to breed students who have the mind of wanting to know more.

Speaking during the formal unveiling of the institution’s new logo in Lagos, Ade-Ojo said, students with inquiry minds are curious, probing and inquisitive in seeking facts and this will help them in asking questions about societal happenings and proffering solutions to them.

He noted that it was in realisation of this fact that the university was set up to help train and expose Nigerian youths to quality teaching and learning experience.
Adeojo added that the new logo is a step towards actualising his vision of creating a world-class institution of higher learning, dedicated to the pursuit of academic and moral excellence.

He said, “We are unveiling this new identity to herald a new dawn in the life of our great institution established for the growth of knowledge, character as well as the total development of mankind. The new identity reflects the resolve of the university to breed young men and women who will break new grounds in all areas of human endeavours in accordance with global best practices.”

“The scholarship would be for the winners of the ‘Founder’s Golf Challenge’ and the ‘Pro-Chancellor’s Fitness Challenge.’  Two students, male and female, will pick the star prizes for each activity when it is formally unveiled.
