inDriver Launches an International Educational Project BeginIT

inDriver announces the new launch of the BeginIT international project courses. Children of orphanages and rural schools from 12 countries will be able to take free courses in IT disciplines.

South Africa is one of the countries which is open for applications from rural schools and boarding schools for participation in the project. The new launch is aimed at middle and senior school students aged 12 to 16. Under the guidance of a teacher-mentor, during six months, project participants will run distance learning one of the best Code Combat online platforms.

The training program includes the basics of programming, web design, game development, and animation. The terms of participation in the project are a computer class and Internet access in the educational organization. According to the results of courses, students and schools who achieve the highest results will receive grants from inDriver for additional courses and technical equipment of computer classes and programming clubs.

“Capable children from rural schools and orphanages have the opportunity to discover the world of IT professions and take the first steps in it. Even if our students choose another specialty for themselves afterward, these courses will give them useful skills and will generally increase their interest in intellectual professions, ” said Alexandra Kirillina, project manager and Head of the inDriver Charity Fund.

This year the project will be held in 12 countries of Africa, Europe, Asia and Latin America, including South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Russia and Kazakhstan.

To apply for participation in the project, educational organizations need to complete the application form.
