It is indisputable that whatever one does in life reflects in eternity. What people say about one is dependent on one’s actions. Giving back to one’s society reinforces one’s exceptional percipience of the essential needs of the less-priviledged.
Kaoli Olatunji Olusanya Educational Foundation (KOOEF) is aimed at transforming the life of every child within Owode Ibeshe, Ikorodu Lagos. Kaoli Olusanya, who is also the Chief Learning Officer of Kith and Kin Educational Schools, believes very strongly that the education of a child is crucial to the growth and development of that child. His generous heart is ever occupied with numerous ideas on how best he could contribute significantly to the academic wellbeing of children within his community.
Close to six years, KOOEF has been a veritable tool employed to achieve this aim- to grant every indigent child access to quality education.
This year, as usual, scholarship examination was conducted in the school for pupils from Methodist Primary School, Ibeshe and Owode Primary School, Ibelefun, Ikorodu Lagos. The best four among those who sat the examination were chosen to enjoy a full scholarship which covers their basic 6 and secondary school education. Not only that, any one who performs excellently after writing WAEC will be automatically granted a full scholarship throughout their university education. It was a moment of wild excitement when the pupils and their parents visited Kith and Kin Nursery and Primary School today to receive their uniforms, textbooks, including writing materials. The parents, radiating excitement, were full of praises for the Chief Learning Officer. They expressed their sincere appreciations to Chief Kaoli Olusanya and prayed fervently that God grant him long life.
The scholarship pupils have joined others to begin academic activities immediately.
