The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has commenced online registration for prospective corps members.
The registration was announced on the official twitter page of NYSC on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.
It is for the Batch A orientation course and remobilization of Corps members that didn’t partake in the previous orientation programme
The registration process will run till 29 of June, 2020. Hence, prospective members are expected to visit the registration portal to register.
The scheme, however, stressed the need for prospective corps members to pay attention to details while registering, especially their date of birth.
According to the tweet, no correction of date of birth will be done on the certificate of national service after completion of national service.
“There shall be no correction of Date of Birth on Certificate of National Service (CNS) after completion of National Service.
“Accordingly, you are strongly advised to utilize the link provided on your dashboard for Date of Birth correction during your Online Registration.
“Also, note that NYSC will not entertain any request for Date of Birth correction once you have been deployed and commenced your Service Year,”
“Online Registration is ongoing,” the tweet read.
