Nigerians have reacted to the award presented to the best graduating student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).
Lawal Olufemi who recently emerged as the best graduating student from Obafemi Awolowo University was awarded the sum of N100,000.
While basking in the euphoria of the excellent academic performance, Olufemi shared the good news on his Twitter handle.
“I graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University as the Best Graduating Student with a historic 4.98 CGPA of 5.0.,” he wrote.
Many social media users have since reacted to the post, criticising the varsity for the type of reward given.
