Ondo: Gov Akeredolu Rehabilitates Abandoned State University

The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu Aketi, has rehabilitated Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa

While disclosing this on Monday June 15, 2020, on his Facebook page, Akeredolu explained that the University, formerly known as OSUSTECH, had been abandoned for 8 years.

He stated that his administration embarked on the project to reiterate his commitment to quality education in the state.

He stressed further that education is essential to achieving growth and development in a state.

“Universities are great engine rooms for economic growth and development.

“We have invested significantly in the rehabilitation of the Olusegun Agagu University of Science in Okitipupa,” Aketi said.

“We will achieve our goal of building a Top tertiary technology institution recognized all over the world,” he added.

While commending the efforts of the landmark projects that Aketi has executed in the state, his Personal Assistant on Special Duties, Dr Doyin Odebowale, corroborated the governor’s claim.

He said on his Facebook wall that “This is Olusegun Agagu University of Technology, Okitipupa, Southern Senatorial District, in Ondo State.

“It was abandoned for 8 years before Aketi became the Governor. Several projects have been completed,” he added.
