See what an English Teacher Wrote on the Blackboard

New data from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics show that 617 million children and adolescents worldwide are not achieving minimum proficiency levels in reading and mathematics.

The figure signals “a learning crisis” according to the UIS, which could threaten progress towards the Sustainable Development.

This is so true because a visit to most of the places called schools leaves much to be desired.

Most school owners open school as another means of business and making money without knowing anything about education, so they employ just anyone they can pay peanuts as teachers.

The teachers in the government school take teaching as a part time job and rather spend more time doing their personal business. The children are then left to their fate. They go to school everyday but learn nothing.

This picture shows what an English teacher wrote on the board for students in a government secondary school.
