UNILAG I.D. CARDS: NEW SCHEDULE FOR DATA CAPTURE OF STUDENTS

Written by Elvis Boniface

The process of capturing photographs and signatures for the production of identity cards for undergraduate students had to be suspended on Friday, August 22, 2014. This development was informed by the difficulties experienced with crowd control and maintaining order in the course of the first three days of exercise.

A new schedule has now been designed to limit the number of students to be attended to per day to a manageable quantity. In the revised schedule (displayed below), data capture will be conducted on a ‘level by level’ basis, starting with 100 Level students. At the completion of this stage, the exercise will be reviewed to inform schedules for other levels of study and the College of Medicine, which will then be advertised.

Below is the new schedule for the exercise:

Date:              Tuesday, August 26 – Tuesday. September 16, 2014

Time:               10am – 3pm daily

Venue:            Akintunde Ojo Library, UNILAG Main Campus, Akoka

PLEASE NOTE THAT:

  • Each student is to bring along their 1st Semester, 2013/2014 docket for identification & verification of their levels.
  • Security Personnel are to kindly report at the venue each day by 7.30am
